Dating back to 1896, Price & Kensington teapots have been a British favourite for over 100 years. With an illustrious pottery heritage, Price & Kensington are renowned for their iconic teapots and distinctive designs.
The Price & Kensington story dates back to 1896 when the Price brothers began manufacturing earthenware in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. The brothers quickly became known for their distinctive designs and enjoyed rapid success under the trade name Price Bros Ltd.
The Price brothers developed strong bonds with Kensington Potteries, who specialised in making teapots, and the two companies merged in 1962 to become Price & Kensington.
To this day, Price & Kensington continues to thrive under family ownership. Price & Kensington teapots remain at the heart of their product range whilst cups, mugs and saucers complete the collection.
In recent years, Price and Kensington have embraced vibrant colours to merge with their traditional designs. The classic White Price & Kensington Teapot is a key member of the collection, but is also now joined by other colours including red, green, blue, orange and purple which are sure to bring pizzazz and flair to the tabletop.
These traditional British teapots are stylish, practical and offer great value. Stephensons stock 2 Cup Price & Kensington Teapots alongside the larger 6 Cup Price & Kensington Teapots. A 10 Cup White Price & Kensington Teapot is also available for serving larger parties.
As well as teapots, Price & Kensington Mugs, Espresso Cups and Cappuccino Cups are great for expressing the colourful personality of your establishment.

The pattern of Churchill Blue Willow takes inspiration from an ancient Chinese fable which is depicted across the range in the Blue Willow pattern.
The legend of Blue Willow:
Once in ancient China, there lived a rich Mandarin man whose beautiful daughter was betrothed to a wealthy old merchant. Her affections, however, lay elsewhere – on her father’s poor but handsome secretary. When their secret meetings were discovered the girl was imprisoned in her father’s pagoda. From there she concealed messages in coconut shells and floated them downstream to her lover.
The Mandarin man, sensing something was going on, hastened the wedding arrangements, but the secretary and daughter promptly eloped.
In a small boat, right in the middle of the sea, the Mandarin man caught them. In his parental wrath he decided to beat them to death when divine intervention caused them to turn into a pair of turtle doves.
The Mandarin man, his plans foiled, returned to his pagoda, whilst the turtle doves flew freely above.
This Chinese fable is depicted in the pattern of Churchill Blue Willow and offers a charming recount of this thrilling tale.

Tesco recently hit the headlines after admitting it wasted 28,500 tonnes of food in the first half of 2013. This shocking announcement has resulted in increased media interest in food wastage in supermarkets, food establishments and the household.
In response, Stephensons the catering equipment supplier has put together some top tips to help you reduce food waste in your establishment.
Carry out a waste audit
Although it may seem a lengthy process, a waste audit is not only good for the environment, but will help you save money in the long run. Keeping track of the ingredients that are thrown out the most will ensure you only order the amount required and don’t make any unnecessary purchases.
Use appropriate crockery
If you offer a buffet service, ensure that you offer a variety of different sizes of crockery. Guest have a tendency to feel as though they have to fill their plates, particularly at events such as wedding receptions, so offering small plates, such as the Churchill Evolve Small Coupe Plate, will ensure there’s a crockery choice for everyone.
Offer small portions
People’s appetites differ, and food is often wasted as a result of portion sizes. Offering a small portion alternative is becoming an increasingly popular method for reducing waste created by those with smaller appetites. For those customers that have eyes bigger than their stomach, why not offer a ‘doggy bag’ service? After all, why let good food go to waste if it can be enjoyed as a tasty supper?
